Husband of instructor killed in Texas school capturing dies from coronary heart assault

Fourth grade teacher Irma Garcia died making an attempt to protect her students alongside trainer Eva Mireles.

UVALDE, Texas - The husband of an elementary school trainer killed throughout a mass capturing in Uvalde, Texas has died of a heart attack.

Family members inform FOX 26 Joe Garcia, the husband of Irma Garcia, died Thursday - simply two days after his wife was tragically killed when a gunman entered Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde and opened hearth. 

Mrs. Garcia was considered one of two teachers, along with 19 students who were killed in the deadly massacre.

The couple was married for twenty-four years and leave behind four kids. 

Officials have not yet launched a motive for the capturing, but a number of questions have been raised because the massacre, including safety measures put in place for the college and who needs to be held accountable.

Throughout a press convention Wednesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott revealed the shooter, Salvador Ramos, shot his grandmother within the face and sent cryptic online messages moments before the attack, but had "no recognized psychological well being historical past," or had a criminal historical past identified either.
