Bay Area cop charged with masturbating in entrance of household throughout domestic violence call

A Bay Space police officer has been charged with masturbating in front of a household that referred to as police throughout a fraught home violence call.

The Santa Clara County District Legal professional’s Office has charged Matthew Dominguez, 32, with a misdemeanor indecent publicity after responding to a restraining order call on the evening of April 21.

An unidentified particular person whose family put a home violence restraining order against him had allegedly violated the order and was at the household’s residence, based on a press release of details offered by the District Lawyer’s Workplace.

The mom, identified within the assertion as Ms. S, the daddy, Mr. A, and their 23-year-old daughter referred to as police. Dominguez and two other officers arrived at the scene, with the previous taking the “lead investigative role,” per the statement.

Dominguez started the investigation by speaking to the daughter.

“Officer Dominguez took interest in her and continued to interact virtually solely together with her,” the assertion read.

After she gave the officer a possible location, Dominguez allegedly ordered the opposite two officers to conduct the search. Whereas he “milled around the home,” in keeping with the assertion, “he managed to maintain the daughter in view of his Body Worn Digital camera.”

The daughter then asked Dominguez about her brother’s GPS monitor, which they — and Ms. S, the mother — went to retrieve collectively. After Dominguez was handed the monitor, the mom alleged that Dominguez unzipped his pants and commenced rubbing his crotch. The daughter also allegedly witnessed this.

Later, the daughter went into the kitchen to get her mother a glass of water. Dominguez allegedly followed her into the kitchen.

As he rotated to face Ms. S, she “noticed Officer Dominguez’s penis outside of his pants absolutely exposed,” the assertion learn.

The mother and daughter then went to seek out Mr. A, the father, and they known as an uncle who was close to the scene.

When Mr. A returned into the kitchen, he “noticed Officer Dominguez facing out of the kitchen with his erect penis in his left hand and his right hand on the counter.” Mr. A left the home; a few minutes minutes later, Dominguez allegedly left and went again to work.

“The charged habits is past disturbing,” District Lawyer Jeff Rosen said. “Legislation enforcement officers reply to our properties to assist crime victims, not terrorize, traumatize, and create new victims.”

This isn't the first misconduct incident inside the past month involving San Jose police. An officer investigating the kidnapping of 3-month-old Brandon Cuellar was allegedly drunk throughout the investigation, tipping off an FBI agent on the scene, KRON reported.

Dominguez is on administrative depart following the incident, the District Lawyer’s Office mentioned. His arraignment is scheduled for June 22.
