Investigators believe Mtula Payton was one of many alleged gang members who opened fireplace in downtown Sacramento on April 3. He was taken into custody at an condominium complicated, the Sacramento Police Division said in a statement Saturday evening.

“Las Vegas Metro Police Division worked with our detectives for weeks in an effort to locate Payton,” the statement mentioned.
