BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "faculty shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of expenses.

An increased amount of cops have been placed at schools in the communities as a result of the signs. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Department of Security stated, but they decided there isn't any credible menace right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The security department released a photo of the plate however blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor fees including false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged at this time.
