The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed during the shooting.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was simply crying, like 'I believe it simply hit Miah. I think the whole lot came to reality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera said Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her mates and classmates were also focused.

Rivera said that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah obtained some blood and put it on herself so she might fake she was lifeless," stated Rivera. "It is an excessive amount of for me to play that scene again and again, but that is what my sister-in-law said is that she noticed her good friend filled with blood and she got blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother mentioned she had bullet fragments in her back," stated Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, mentioned the household is rallying around Miah to assist her get better bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we just have to hope and ask God to assist us move ahead by this situation, I do know it is traumatizing as it is," said Rivera.

Almost everybody within the city of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of somebody within the mass capturing at Robb Elementary Faculty, residents are supporting one another as they start coping with the tragedy.
