Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles within the car. Both have been taken to a hospital and are now in steady situation, officials said. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
