Lakpa Sherpa and several different climbers took advantage of favorable weather to achieve the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) summit early in the morning, her brother and expedition organizer Mingma Gelu stated. He mentioned she was in good well being and was safely descending from the height.
Sherpa, 48, never got an opportunity to get a proper education as a result of she had to start earning a residing by carrying climbing gear and supplies for trekkers.
