A California district attorney declined to file costs Tuesday towards former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson after he was recorded on video in a bodily altercation with another passenger on a JetBlue flight.

"Our choice is that we will not file any prices against Mr. Tyson primarily based on the circumstances surrounding the confrontation. These embrace the conduct of the victim main as much as the incident, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the sufferer, as well as the requests of each the victim and Mr. Tyson that no prices be filed in this case," Wagstaffe stated.
The case is now closed.
Cellphone video showed Tyson, 55, appearing to attempt to punch somebody who was pushing him away. Representatives for Tyson said the person was harassing Tyson. The video didn't show what happened before the altercation.
David Chesnoff, Richard Schonfeld and Martin Sabelli, attorneys for Tyson, responded to the choice to not file charges by thanking Wagstaffe, the San Mateo County sheriff and regulation enforcement businesses "for his or her careful, diligent, and professional work."
