Russian spy plane violates Swedish air house

A Russian reconnaissance airplane briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish defense officials said on Saturday, because the Scandinavian country ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish defense ministry mentioned in a statement, including that its groups had adopted the incident and photographed it.
The ministry stated the airplane was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island in the Baltic, earlier than it headed toward Swedish territory.
“It is completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This action is unprofessional and given the general security situation very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty must at all times be revered.”
