The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Impartial School District police force are not cooperating with the Texas Division of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College and the state's assessment of the regulation enforcement response, a number of law enforcement sources inform ABC News.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Unbiased College District didn't instantly reply to requests for comment from ABC News.
In line with sources, the choice to cease cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news convention Friday throughout which he said the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the wrong decision" and opposite to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Security said, "The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police offered an initial interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days in the past."
Last Tuesday's attack, one of many worst school shootings in U.S. history, left 19 youngsters and two adults lifeless.
