Supreme Court says wrongful dying lawsuit against Dallas officers can go ahead

DALLAS - The high court docket will permit a wrongful dying lawsuit to proceed in opposition to town of Dallas and 4 cops.

The family of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.

Tony Timpa referred to as police for assist as he had a drug and psychological health crisis.

The Supreme Court docket upheld a federal appeals court’s ruling that may enable the case to proceed.
