Russian spy airplane violates Swedish air area

A Russian reconnaissance plane briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish protection officials said on Saturday, because the Scandinavian country ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish defense ministry said in an announcement, including that its groups had adopted the incident and photographed it.
The ministry mentioned the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island within the Baltic, before it headed toward Swedish territory.
“It's completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This action is unprofessional and given the overall safety state of affairs very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should all the time be revered.”
