They blocked parents trying to arrange to charge in to stop the shooter, including a father who realized his daughter was murdered whereas he argued with the cops. We aren't free when politicians resolve that the lobbyist and gun industries are more vital than our children's freedom to go to high school while not having bulletproof backpacks and active shooter drills," Kapler wrote.

"I am not okay with the state of this country. I want I hadn't let my discomfort compromise my integrity. I want that I may have demonstrated what I learned from my dad, that once you're dissatisfied together with your nation, you let it's known through protest. The home of the brave ought to encourage this."

"In the last 10 days, we have had elderly Black folks killed in a grocery store in Buffalo, we have had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California, now we have youngsters murdered in school," Kerr advised reporters at first of the press conference.

"When are we going to do something? I am tired. I'm so bored with getting up here and offering condolences to the devastated families that are on the market ... I'm bored with the moments of silence. Sufficient."
