A Florida decide on Wednesday struck down a portion of a redistricting map drawn by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and his employees.
Driving the news: "I'm finding that the enacted map is unconstitutional below the Fair District amendment ... as a result of it diminishes African Americans' ability to elect the representatives of their alternative," Leon County Circuit Judge Layne Smith mentioned.
