HAMILTON (Mercer) — A police chief from Burlington County now dealing with DWI charges in Mercer County was lying down in the street behind his pickup truck, keys and cell phone strewn nearby — as seen in body digital camera footage from the April arrest.
The video exhibits what happened after police caught up with Bordentown Police Chief Brian Pesce, who was been charged with crashing his vehicle and fleeing the scene earlier in the evening.
The truck’s driver-side door was flung open as Hamilton law enforcement officials arrived on April 22 to see Bordentown Police Chief Brian Pesce, mendacity on his left aspect close to the curb behind his Chevy Silverado.

He was promoted to chief in 2018, after 20 years with Bordentown police, following the resignation of disgraced former Bordentown Police Chief Frank Nucera.
