Bordentown, NJ police chief sprawled in road during DWI arrest

HAMILTON (Mercer) — A police chief from Burlington County now facing DWI fees in Mercer County was lying down in the street behind his pickup truck, keys and cellular phone strewn nearby — as seen in physique camera footage from the April arrest.

Pesce has been on restricted responsibility till further discover pending investigation results as he faces expenses for five traffic offenses.

He was promoted to chief in 2018, after 20 years with Bordentown police, following the resignation of disgraced former Bordentown Police Chief Frank Nucera.
