The household of an 11-year-old woman who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed throughout the shooting.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law referred to as me and she was simply crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I feel every thing got here to reality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her mates and classmates have been also focused.

Rivera said that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah bought some blood and put it on herself so she might fake she was lifeless," stated Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene again and again, but that's what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she saw her buddy full of blood and she bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.
