The family of an 11-year-old lady who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed in the course of the capturing.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law referred to as me and she was simply crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I believe all the things came to actuality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera said Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her buddies and classmates had been also targeted.

Rivera stated that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah got some blood and put it on herself so she may faux she was useless," stated Rivera.
